Portrait of Pain Review
I was a little hesitant to pick up the last book to Jane Washington's Seraph Black series, not because the other books were bad, they were wonderful, just because I had no clue how she was going to end the series. I stared at my iPad eyeing the cover like it was a snake. Would it compare to the other ones? Would Jane break my heart? Would she give Seraph and her pairs the end they deserved?
Jane surpassed every expectation I had.
I was blown away at the complexity and simplicity of the relationships. I have to say, I have been routing for Miro since the beginning. I loved how he came out of his shell and really blossomed in this last book, and boy was he sexy. Who knew he had all that hidden under his suits?
This girl did!
Then there is Silas...two words: twice over. Enough said.
The ending made me cry happy tears. I love the little glimpse of the future we got to experience. All in all, the series is incredible, the ending is impeccable, and men are delicious. Congrats on finishing your second series! I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Lots of Love,
